Do you collect coins, paper money, medals, or tokens? Would you like to learn more about your collection or add to it? Or, are you interested in becoming a coin collector but don’t know how to start? If you answer “YES” to any of these questions you are welcome to attend the regular meetings of the Fresno Numismatic Society. We hope that your introduction to our Society will be so positive that you will want to become a member!
The Fresno Numismatic Society was founded in 1946. We have been promoting the hobby of coin collecting and supporting local collectors ever since. Our goal is to disseminate numismatic knowledge and enhance the collecting experience for our members and the general community. We have monthly general meetings January through November, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3973 N. Cedar Avenue, Fresno CA 93726. Meetings are open to the public, with free admission. Visit our website (www.fresnocoinclub.com) or email us ([email protected]) for more information.
All FNS members receive our monthly newsletter, The Fresno Numismatist, which reports on the activities of the Society and provides information on selected numismatic topics. Members can offer numismatic items for sale at our monthly silent auctions and have voting privileges when motions are put up for vote at FNS meetings. All current members are eligible to run for FNS office or to apply to join our Board of Directors.
A regular annual membership to FNS costs $25 and includes the monthly newsletter send via email. If you prefer a hard-copy newsletter sent to your address by USPS the membership fee is $30. Associate membership (for a spouse) or Junior membership (for children 16 and under) costs an additional $5.
